Root Down

The famous and amazing Root Down was originally created as a yoga balm to help bring awareness and mobility to the body in yoga classes. However, we quickly realized that it was also effective for pain and inflammation. The cooling effects of the menthol crystals can also help to ease cough, cold and flu symptoms. With an amazing blend of oils such as frankincense and palmarosa to ease pain, peppermint to help soothe, and the power of arnica flowers to ease inflammation you cannot go wrong with Root Down as a household must have.

This Yoga and Muscle balm is a great way to bring attention to tight muscles during yoga class/activity or soothe them after. The menthol crystals act as a mild, natural tiger balm creating an initial coolness that fades into a gentle heat. Castor oil and arnica have been shown in studies to help ease muscle pain and promote the body’s own natural healing processes. Use this balm on aches, pains, sprains and general tightness and notice the difference while feeling confident that you are using a totally natural alternative to most store bought muscle creams.

In addition to all these things, Root Down is great for the cold and flu season and can be used to help loosen a tight chest, along the spine and lower back to help with fevers and along the hairline to help with nasty headaches and migraines! This is an amazing multi-purpose balm you are sure to LOVE!
